I've enough of the non-IT related tasks that I'm constantly taking over. Working under people talk alot but cannot lead is real sh*t. Fiak off better. I've decided to accept a job that is paying me slightly lower but the learning opportunties are limitless and the company is as big as you can imagine. Lipton tea, Dove and Skippy are only part of their product range. You will come to know that what appears today to be a sacrifice will prove instead to be the greatest investment that you will ever make. Unilever here I come... *Thou shalt ne'er work for a SME anymore!

Oprah Winfrey celebrated the premiere of her 19th season by surprising each of her 276 audience members with a new car. Making sure the audience was kept in suspense, Winfrey opened the show by calling 11 people onto the stage. She gave each of them a car — a Pontiac G6. She then had gift boxes distributed to the rest of the audience and said one of the boxes contained keys to a 12th car. But when everyone opened the boxes, each had a set of keys. “Everybody gets a car! Everybody gets a car! Everybody gets a car!” Winfrey yelled as she jumped up and down on the stage. The audience screamed, cried and hugged each other — then followed Winfrey out to the parking lot of her Harpo Studios to see their Pontiacs, all decorated with giant red bows. Liang zhi qiang, do something!!!!

Staying home on both fri & sat night. Caught the flu bug but I should be on course for recovery now, took some Panadol for cold relief earlier on. Yesterday was the last day of the temp staff sitting besides me. She'll be starting her uni education in NTU this august and is probably the most impressive temp staff I've ever seen... somebody who seems to know almost everything from admin to accounting to IT and she's only a TEMP! She was the one who showed me around the office on my first day, my information counter and a constant companion at work. It felt so empty in office today without her around to work & crap with. However, despite the short stint we spent working together, she has no doubt helped to improve on my 'lian pang qiang' malaysian chinese accent. Ka Ren told me she has an identical international student card like the one i made in bangkok. hehe. I tot only students from european countries have them but surprisingly, local unis also have. Looks like the international realli means International. I can start paying at student rates for my meals at pizza hut and pasta mania soon. Everyone around me is crazy about the world cup but I hardly watch at all. The only match i've seen so far was the one between England & Portugal and it wasnt even a complete one. Tmr is the world cup final but I'm more interested in the Wimbledon final between Federer and Nadal. Very much looking forward to it! +++ FY and QQ's birthdays are approaching and both are on the same day! FY's a fren since pri 4 or 5. Cant remember already but we were from the same eca RED CROSS Society... She's the only pri sch fren whom I still talk with nowadays. Thank you for all the help you've rendered for my studies and all the tennis court bookings in NUS! QQ's since y2k... A ger I tried picking up from the once popular IRC but ironically turned out to my matchmaker. She's probably my most significant cyberfren turned realfriend. Someone who has given me so much happiness and pleasures yet with so much pain and sorrows... None of those memories with that ger I'm willingly to trade anything for other den the bowling gal and ???! haha. Anyway, thanks for passing me her info when I needed them most and not forgetting ur tennis court bookings as well. ..!.. P/S: The rest who are reading this have not been forgetten! Wait for ur turn!!!!!!

The trip was a very tiring one. It made my already-not-enough-sleep worse and both my legs are now aching from the after-effect of the shopping-ings (Shopping is juz not for me). Nevertheless, it was a fun and fruitful shopping trip. I got what I wanted to get before the trip… a fake student pass (for novelty purpose)! I’ll upload some photos taken from the trip once they send them to me. And for now, it’s especially sleepy after a heavy lunch on a Monday. I'll go battle the monday blues and zzz monster...
