I got the call from Citibank this morning, leaving me in mixed emotions thereafter.
The benefits for perm staff together with the Asst. Manager position are too good to reject.
But how am I going to tell the IBM-AMEX hiring manager that I won't be joining them, putting into consideration of the amount of faith & patience she has in me.

Rained on all 4 days we were there.
The air pollution there is very bad now, did not get to see a piece of clear blue sky at all during the trip. It wasn't this bad when I last visited 9 years ago.
Went Shenzhen on our second day and it really lived up to its name for the pick pocketings. I lost SGD $100 unknowningly.
The 3D theatre at Disneyland totally rocks! The fruity smell of the pies and water sprinkled at the audience to match the on-screen graphics.

It’s been a really long time since I last visited Thompson Plaza, better known as Yaohan, before today. There’s always this nostalgic feeling each time I step into this place, maybe because it was one of the nicer shopping centers I used to frequent along with Parkway parade during my childhood days.
My colleagues organized a farewell dinner at a Chinese restaurant there with a generous budget of $100 per person, sponsored by the company. The foods are very good though my choices were really limited but still, I enjoyed myself with their company. The sad thing is it won’t be easy for us to meet up again for dinner like this.
Thompson Plaza and Parkway Parade are my favourites.

My next 3 upcoming trips in the next one month... before embarking on my new job:
Hong Kong, Vietnam and Taiwan.
Can't get economy class tickets on the dates I want for Taiwan so I had to take business class instead.
totally ecstatic...
I'm going to be so damn broke after these trips but they're worth it.

I've made up my mind after consulting many.
I shall fight the temptation of higher salary and follow my heart.
Sacrifice is giving up something good for something better, and in this case, I'll make NUS a safer place for the mei meis by joining Amex. =)
