Updates:
I'll be going Vietnam and Thailand in Apr'07 thanks to Tiger Airways' promotion.
1 way ticket arriving at Ho Chi Min and departing from Hanoi. Backpacking. 5 days to explore.
3 days @ Bangkok, maybe shoppings and taking some IT professional exams.
Talking about budget airlines, it's making me very budgetless now but still, I'm really looking forward to these trips.
Oh and if you're into soccer, Pele (the soccer legend) is coming to Temasek Poly on 28th Nov @ 5pm.

The insurance ger has made her move... sibei sianz
The past 2 weeks have been really tiring for me, having to work in the day and attend classes in the evening plus a weekend burnt in between @ Genting, totally exhausted from lack of sleep. It's been sometime since I've had this work/study combination but luckily it’s only for 2 weeks this time. Not complaining at all since it was a sponsored course by my company.
I slept the entire afternoon/evening away and have never felt so refreshed in a long time.
Now I am having 2nd thoughts about studying masters next July.. if I’m gonna be able to take on both studies & work at the same time but if I don't start by next Jul, I’ll missed the target I've set for my goals....

Standard Chartered Marathon next Sunday... Not so looking forward to it actually but I WILL beat my last year timing.
Collected the marathon race-pack @ Suntec before my evening class yesterday. I made a BIG mistake by giving my real hp number to one of the many insurance agents lurking around yesterday. I think she must be some kind of a ‘hu li jing’, a really attractive one though, to be able to seduce me in giving away my real number. Shat man! SHAT! I dun wan anymore nuisance calls again!

How many times can you get to see a cinema theatre blacked out in Singapore. We made our ways up to Tampines Mall’s Golden Village after the bowling session last nite only to find darkness everywhere at the box office. A bit of chaos there and the GV staffs were slammed left, right and upside down by the angry customers. It was hot, crowded and messy so we left. Not sure if the ticket charges still stand but if they were to charge my card for them, I tink ‘that’s it!’

One last note before I end this super long entry. Some quotes.
"Love is so powerful that while it's killing me, it's the only thing keeping me alive!"
"What I have with him is worth it. It is worth every lonely night, every tear I cry from missing him, and the pain I feel from not having him close. It is worth it because he is my one and only. When I picture myself years from now, I see only him. No matter how painful distance can be, not having him in my life would be worse."
"Always make your presence felt, in such a way that somebody misses you, but let not your absence be so long that somebody starts learning to live without you."
"Sometimes we have to forget what we feel and realize what we deserve."
** p/s: Super long post for once cox I am spending a Satuday night at home.
Nice song my baby told me...
The Painter - O Town
If I were a painter Mixing my colors How could I ever find the blue of your eyes The canvas could never Capture the light of your smile, of your smile
And girl if I were a sculptor Working in marble I couldn't hope to copy your perfect face The curve of your body The feel of your skin My hands could never Ever trace
So I try to find the melody as beautiful as you Find the words to say your eyes are bluer than blue Fill my voice with the emotion I'm feeling for you And now when the beat is so strong I'd give my heart and my soul
If I were an actor I could be someone Someone who'd always know the right things to say But as soon as I'd see you I'd forget all my lines And you'd never know what I feel inside
So I try to find the melody as beautiful as you Find the words to say your eyes are bluer than blue Fill my voice with the emotion I'm feeling for you And now when the beat is so strong I'd give my heart and my soul
There's no other way That I know to say Baby how much I love you And if only you'd give me a chance
I will try to find the melody as beautiful as you Find the words to say your eyes are bluer than blue Fill my voice with the emotion I'm feeling for you And now when the beat is so strong I'd give my heart and my soul
--> my imaginary gf... or maybe it's real.
Genting was really fun (less the coach rides)... Looking forward to go again soon.
I spent S$400 on new clothings. Surprisingly, they have some good shops selling at really bargain prices. Not those pasar malam quality but brands like diadora, B.U.M equipment and so on...
Technology has once again proven to be unreliable, especially when u least expect it. We locked our stuffs at 1 of the newer electronic lockers then when we tried to retrieve, the locker door didn't open! The technician came but he has no idea how to open as well... I tried to act smart by telling him "ini tak boleh buka" and he started blabbering to me in malay. I was like 'op-oh' then I pretended to talk to my fren. In the end, it took them 1 freaking hour to open that locker.

Funny english isn't it?

I improved my 2.4km timing by 10 seconds from last year but still 12 seconds off the pace to get gold. 9m44sec or below to qualify for gold. The 12 seconds cost me $200 !! but i'll try harder next year.

I have ppl asking me why I kept visiting Genting. Actually it isn't really that fun, just that I enjoy outings. In fact I dread the journey to and fro but it's difficult to reject frens and resist outings out of Singapore.
I ain't a keen gambler at casino, the odds are simply too low and the 'xiao gui(s)' are plentiful.
Job offer from a fortune 300 company today ended my tiring week on a high, especially when I had to work till 2am last night with my Thailand counterparts. The clients of this company are from only the automotive industry! Isn't this the industry that is aligned with my passion, hobby and everything?!
I am seriously comfortable with my present job, colleagues despite the long hours I have to commit to sometimes. It is really cool and fun being able to meet ppl from all over the region and it also helps when I've to plan my holidays or backpacking tour such as the Taiwan trip I'm goin. My Taiwanese colleagues have provided me valuable information on getting around via the rail and express bus.
But the offer is very tempting with higher basic pay with profit sharing, and to top it off, it is a regional post as well. Aww...
It's past my bedtime now but my hair's still wet. Just reached home from my night class a while ago and all my weekday evenings and weekends are fully booked until end of next week... bloody hell!
Anyway, I have regular tennis sessions every sunday morning with a group of 4-6 regulars. I missed a few sessions prior to last sunday's and they were quite surprised to see me there.
One of them started a convsersation with me while we were resting
him: 'Ur wedding in Dec?' me: 'no' him: 'huh?! postponed?' me: 'since when i said i was getting married?' him: 'they said u were busy preparing for ur wedding tats y nv come for tennis.'
It actually made me smile to think of myself getting married. I tink its really cool to wed at my age... i'm so looking forward!
Genting this weekend for me... this time with my colleagues.
omg... Jetstart is having crazy sales!

Tomoro is my IPPT! Think I'm not in the condition to get gold this time round.
Went roller-blading at ECP yesterday after a zillion years from blading... not bad, still can blade but not as smooth as I wud haf liked. The scorching hot sun almost melted me, and worsen my fever. If not for wantin to train up for my IPPT, I wud haf chosen a less strenuous activity to do yesterday.
Anyway, this t-shirt caught my attention as I walked past the shop selling flip flops beside the entrance of the Cathay building yesterday.
 Freshly squeezed!
 and my fren acting cute!
Another man I admire alot and I have to blog this too!
== Rain is only one challenge in Formula One. Experts say it over and over: The great ones can drive around a problem. Schumacher made it a point to do just that.
During one race, his Ferrari wasn't quick enough on the straightaways. So he radioed the crew to take off the wing. That would make the car harder to handle in the curves, they told him.
"That's my problem. I'll handle that bit -- what I can't do anything about is the straight-line speed," Schumacher responded.
Hilton called this ability to find a way to win "the art of the possible." Schumacher was a master at it.

I dun usually admire ppl or give praises. It's the arrogance & ego in me but a few men, like Schumacher, totally humbled me.

Anyway, something worth mentioning...
After was sms-ing with QQ on the cheapskate hp...

qq: I'm fussy. Not fuzzy. haha! If I'm fuzzy you better go to optician le .....
