Shall do it on Sat. 3. Hebe is so amazingly adorable! I just had to buy the ticket to her concert though only left with 2nd best seats and below now. Bought 2 tickets. 4. It's always heartwarming to receive real greeting cards via snail mail. Thanks JanElle! 5. Very very busy at work, stupid virus infected quite a few regional servers and I was tasked to handle this emergency case. I hate lacking sleep...

Met up with qq & sher after a long time... got my belated bday present. Very generous of them to give me 4 gifts in a pack and a self made card with a kiam pa pic of myself. Thanks man, realli appreciate them. =) Saw S.H.E practicing for their upcoming concert on SCV. one of the solo part: Selina dancing? Ella playing piano (ai hen jian dan) HEBE playing drums!!! So super adorable!!! Not sure if these will be featured in the concert here but i tink the Taiwan concert should have. Previously, their concert date clashed with my reservist dates before it was reduced by 10 days and I didn't go for the Sandy's one so I didn't want to go for others but after seeing how adorable HEBE is... I immediately went to SISTIC website but all the $148 tickets were already sold out, only left $128 and below. Sianz, abit far from the stage. if have $148 tickets please let me know... there u go....

Stock market in Asia regions recovered after the U-turn decision on currency controls. The finance minister from the military-installed government is better off polishing rifles. Wondered how many investors were destroyed by this crap decision of his. The THAIs must surely be missing their former PM's, Thaksin, leadership abilities now. After the U-turn in decision was announced, the stock I picked from my research rose by a staggering 0.42 cents after yesterday slump. At least it proved my research was not that bad afterall, and it meant 2 things for me: 1) If I held on to the stocks, I would have been $2400 richer today despite the slump yesterday. For those who invested in this stock (sino-env) today since this morning, they would have been richer by $420 for every 1 lot they purchased. 2) I am not cut to make easy money like this. KaRen is right, can really earn $$ from stock market except you cannot be 'suay' like me. === My analysis for 21st Dec. KaRen, invest in your virtual stock!! ![]() Depends on the fluctuation, some may have to be sold during mid-day.

Seems like I never learn from mistakes, another $1000 gone today. 2 minor factors attributed to my loss today: 1. My huge risk factor – Either makes it big or don’t even bother at all. 2. Impulsiveness. – Greed took over rational thinking. So much for my research this time round, it was useless against the crucial factor that crashed the Thai’s stock market which in turn, pulled down the stock markets in Asia region. "Asian stocks slumped on Tuesday, with investors spooked by the worst-ever losses in Bangkok where the military government imposed capital controls reminiscent of the 1997 Asian financial crisis." All thanks to the Thai govt for curbing the appreciation of Thai baht so, I can't really blame myself. I did my homework, just that I entered at a wrong time. Maybe I’m not gifted to earn money the faster way other people do. After all has been said and done, I've no regrets though it could have been... but heck, I just found another way that don't work! *pardon me for my rantings else I think I will go bonkers... === On a more favourable note, it’s been raining for almost 3 consecutive days. Rainy day really makes me happy, especially at dawn or night.

Attended a friend's wedding last nite, the first from my friends. Met up with many old frens from my NS and it was back to the good old times... Out of the nine course dinner, the only dish I could eat was the dessert. sighz I can't wait for my turn man... It's gonna be a 11-course vegetarian wedding banquet. === Been thinking of switching from IT to Banking & Finance industry. Though I may be a little ahead than most of my peers in my industry, I can easily double or triple my earnings in the banking industry. But of course, it involved higher risks n longer working hours. Am I ready to make the move? === Song! Well, I never saw it coming. I should've started running A long, long time ago. And I never thought I'd doubt you, I'm better off without you More than you, more than you know. I'm slowly getting closure. I guess it's really over. I'm finally getting better. And now I'm picking up the pieces. I'm spending all of these years Putting my heart back together. 'Cause the day I thought I'd never get through, I got over you.

My first attempt at the stock market today n I lost S$1k within 4 hours. I bought them at their peak, and sold them when they dropped to their lowest. How stupid can I get.Anyway, it ain't a playground for the faint hearted! Though I can afford it but I tink it will keep me away this thing for some time, at least now. =( === Photos from marathon. ![]() ![]()

I seriously think that Singapore is already over-crowded. Try hitting town or other major shopping centers during weekends... is quite a big turn off for me, I dislike crowds. Wonder how much more crowds will the 2 IRs bring once they are in operation? Don't be surprise if one day Singapore adopts the one-child policy. === Quotes: The only thing I would change about you is your last name...to mine. === This is what they called heaven on earth. 1 night stay will set you back by around S$700. But I reckon it's worth it. ![]() If it doesn't load, click here to view: http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/2003/villaaaabl1.jpg

Hebe looks very attractive even with short hair. For once, I left office on time and found myself having quite a bit of time to spare. I went for a hair cut and had dinner alone. Pathetic but that's the trouble with being single, maybe not for long anymore. Been getting lazy for sports recently. I gained 3kg in the last 2 months... === I am not entitled to any bonus for my first year! PSA is paying their staffs 4.3 to 7 months worth of bonuses ! sianz man... === Read and heard fm ppl that Sandy Lam's concert last Sat was super powerpacked. Totally made every cents worth. Fiak man, if her next concert tour don't include to SG, I swear I will fly to wherever it is to watch.

The washing machine in my house broke down just before my mom n sis left for Japan 2 days ago. Now I have to wash my own clothes after returning home from work else my grandma will wash them for me. what a time to break down... my back is aching from the manual washing, especially after washing my big green towel (used in army tat kind). sianz! I shall not play too much tennis or do sports, if not many many clothes to wash again. === I like the bryani rice and potato curry at Muthu Curry. I super like the summer vegetable soup at pizza hut. I love all kind of potatoes... === I cancelled my s-t-a-r_h-u-b maxonline to switch over to S.i.n.g.n.e.t. They'll be revoking my free digital voice as well, which means the golden number I owned will also be gone. But I hardly use my room phone nowadays so I guess it doesn't really matter. The sales team called me up to offer me a 20% off my subscription fees for 2 years but abit too late, I already signed with s.i.n.g.n.e.t. The free sony 32" flat screen LCD tv is coming my way soon. === Read this: From 'mypaper' - the free chinese daily 2% of the world's population own 50% of the world's wealth. Richest 1% own 40% of global assets.

I keep a list of people who remembered my birthday in 2006. A total of 30 made it to the list though some were really late but still, I'll make sure I remember theirs' in 2007. Thank you! Danke! === My result in 2005 ![]() My result in 2006 ![]() Improved by about 4 mins. === For those who are interested, Genting hotels are having promo from Jan - Mar '07. I am going from 12th to 14th Jan. QQ, go leh!

Birthday celebration was as usual, spent with 2 best buddies. The photos are with one of them, so until he gives me, I can't post the pics. I was quite turned off when I see my new 'age' creamed on the cake. Arghz! Completed my 10km run in the Standard Chartered Marathon today. I am quite satisfied with my run today cox I crossed the finishing line knowing that I could not have done any better this time round. The fact that I did not train and did not walk at all throughout the entire 10km were in itself an achievement for me. hehe. Somewhere near the starting line, i saw a huge poster with this quote: "Just by running, you've beaten 99.9% of the population." It spurred me on... Will update once the official timing is out. I tink I did better than last year.

Finally, my most favourite month of the year is here again. Coincidentally, it's also a Friday today, double joy! Yay! My brain has tuned to holidays mood mode already so I reckon I'll be quite unproductive at work today. Very keen to get a powerboat license, will be getting one soon. If interested, join me! Total cost is only $350. So much cheaper than getting a car licence. === I had 2 not-so-realistic dreams last night. 1st: I dreamt that I was racing for Team Ferrari in Formula 1 along with Michael Schumacher as my team mate. 2nd I dreamt of her with me again… === Back to reality, I saw her in the MRT train on my way to work this morning. We saw each other. I suppose she was on her way to ntu. === I turned down the previous position offered to me. I'm so very comfortable with my present company & colleagues that monetary rewards isn't enough to tempt me to jump ship. It's surprising that I am starting to think differently now. Despite my short stint here, I've already attended 2 professional courses sponsored by my company and have been scheduled to attend 2-3 more next year. By the way. these courses don't come cheap. Also, there are many 'big toys' for me to explore n learn here so maybe I'll just stay for 3 years until I complete my masters degree. It all depends... === My ex-classmate shared with me this quote earlier on: "Every expert was once a beginner" - Indeed very true.
