 1 million dong is about SGD $100. Interesting gal. --- There are many things I wanna blog about but i'm lacking the energy to do so. maybe some things are better left unsaid. It is at times like these I wished I had a gf. --- In life we are faced with many wide ranging decisions and choices on a daily basis. =( I’m at the crossroad once again and this is really bothering me a damn lot. I was about to sign with my new employer today, they have waited 2 weeks for my decision. The director was willingly to wait, gave me valuable advises and even asked me to go for the interview with the latter company. How often do you find that kind of attention given from a director of a global institution to a small fry like me? I appreciate it very much. The other company has short listed only me out of a list of quality candidates and has offered a very attractive package to beat the previous one. That’s the amount of confidence they’ve in me and I’m very honored for that. Now that’s a very tough choice to make… I’ll have to make the decision latest by Wednesday.

It is almost certain that I'll be resigning from U… next Wednesday. This decision became firm after a chat with the director of the department I'll be joining. She assured me of the opportunities and advancement I'll get if I perform. I've always wanted to work either in Taiwan or with a global bank / financial institution in Singapore. Global as in really global, not U*B, OC*C etc... Unfortunately, my job search in Taiwan wasn’t very successful and this offer presents a rare opportunity... to manage stuffs that compliment my skill sets in a really renowned global financial institution. I'm finding it very hard to be leaving a company that has given me a lot and especially these really wonderful colleagues. I think this 'moody-ness' I'm experiencing now is going to last for some time. I will miss the many late nights, sat and sun I spent working. I will be missing a lot of things. It is going to feel weird to have empty evenings and free weekends.

I was supposed to travel to Bangkok this weekend but unfortunately, had to forfeit the trip due to work. For some reasons, I didn't even bother to postpone the air tickets but I would prefer not to mention here.  === I've just made the hotel bookings for the Hong Kong trip next month. For the same reason, I insisted on per person per room though hotel rates in HK ain't cheap. I didn't make it obvious but I am a light sleeper. My colleagues and sec sch friends will be travelling together, hope they can get along peacefully. I love to travel but I've never enjoyed the flight part, unless I'm rich enough to afford business or first class one day.

One day I am going to lose all my friends. I have a few really nice friends who have been asking me out (for dinner, movies or simply catching up) many times but I am still unable to meet up with most of them since late Jan. I end work late on weekdays everyday, and usually exhuasted by then to even think about going out. For weekends, I can't remember when was the last time I didn't work besides those when I was out of Singapore. Of course I can choose to go back on time and not work on weekends but it is not in my character to irresponsible like this. Overloaded with projects and responsibilities but I still like my job for the regional exposure and maybe the salary. =P I truely value friendship and I will try my best to work lesser, give me a little more time my amigos. === S.H.E new songs will be aired on radio worldwide tomorrow. Plus not forgetting: Happy Birthday CY!

Never have been so busy at work before, it is getting a little crazy now... In addition, I got activated every night during my standby duties last week. That feeling to be woken up in the middle of a deep sleep is really sucky. I dun like to be standby duty... problem many many! I'm slightly lost for my work and career at this point of time, hopefully I can recover soon. --- On a different note, I'll be going to Saigon tomorrow and returning on Sunday! Will be visiting Unilever office (Vietnam) before back-packing all the way up to Hanoi but I confirm won't be marrying a Vietnamese girl. I appreciate those who never forget to sms me 'Bon Voyage or enjoy ur trip' before I travel. 3 persons. --- An article in the daily free chinese papers: S.H.E went wild in a night club and drank like no tomorrow to celebrate Hebe's bday after filming MV for their new song"中国话"....... Towards the end, Hebe said in mixed languages: 用我的 credit card， 我是 independent 的女人! And she paid for the $600 bill. ---
